Net metering and technical rules
- Net metering is available under this scheme.
- Net metering policy: PSERC Net Metering Regulations 2014 (amended 2022). 1 kW–500 kW. Single DISCOM: PSPCL (all of Punjab). Monthly net energy settlement.
- Gross metering policy: PSERC gross metering for >500 kW. PSPCL feed-in tariff per PSERC order.
- Hybrid policy: Punjab Agrivoltaic pilot in Fazilka, Muktsar districts (PEDA + PAU joint programme).
- DISCOM requirements: PSPCL: Single DISCOM covering all Punjab. Chandigarh: CPDCL (Union Territory electricity dept.).
