Eligibility and disbursement

- Income restrictions: No restriction for most sub-schemes; SC/ST priority for agricultural pumps.
- Disbursement timeline: 30–60 days post-commissioning (residential)
- Disbursement mode: DBT to beneficiary bank account (residential); VGF/tariff waiver (commercial/utility)
Net metering and technical rules
- Net metering is available under this scheme.
- Net metering policy: Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) Net Metering Regulations 2015 (amended 2022). 1 kW–1 MW. DISCOMs: JVVNL (Jaipur), AVVNL (Ajmer), JdVVNL (Jodhpur).
- Gross metering policy: RERC gross metering for systems >500 kW; feed-in tariff as per RERC order.
- Hybrid policy: Rajasthan Hybrid Energy Policy 2023 allows solar + wind + BESS co-location.
- DISCOM requirements: JVVNL (Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur), AVVNL (Ajmer, Bhilwara, Kota, Udaipur), JdVVNL (Jodhpur, Bikaner, Barmer, Jaisalmer).
