Net metering and technical rules

  • Net metering is available under this scheme.
  • Net metering policy: GERC (Goa Electricity Regulatory Commission) Net Metering Regulations 2017 (amended 2022). 1 kW–500 kW. Single DISCOM: Goa Electricity Department (GED) — state-run. Excess units settled monthly.
  • Gross metering policy: GERC gross metering for >500 kW. Feed-in tariff per GERC order.
  • Hybrid policy: Goa Solar + EV integration: solar rooftop + EV charging points policy under Green Goa

• DISCOM requirements: Goa Electricity Department (GED): Single state-run DISCOM for all Goa. All 12 talukas covered.
