Net metering and technical rules
- Net metering is available under this scheme.
- Net metering policy: MPERC (Net Metering Regulations for Grid Connected Renewable Energy Sources) 2015 (amended 2023). 1 kW–1 MW eligible. DISCOMs: MPEZ (East), MPZ (West: Indore, Bhopal), MPP (Panchayat/rural areas).
- Gross metering policy: MPERC gross metering for systems >500 kW. PPA-based tariff for utility-scale projects.
- Hybrid policy: MP Hybrid Energy Policy 2022: solar + wind co-location in Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur districts.
- DISCOM requirements: MPPKVVCL (Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co.): East MP — Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa. MPPKVVCL (West Zone): Bhopal, Gwalior, Chambal. MPMaVVCL (Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra): Indore, Ujjain, Dewas.
