Eligibility and disbursement

- Income restrictions: No income restriction; free connection for BPL under Delhi subsidy scheme (separate).
- Disbursement timeline: 30–45 days post-commissioning (central CFA); quarterly generation incentive
- Disbursement mode: DBT (central CFA); quarterly generation incentive via DISCOM credit
- Maximum capacity: 500 kW
Net metering and technical rules
- Net metering is available under this scheme.
- Net metering policy: DERC Net Metering Regulations 2014 (amended 2024). 1 kW–500 kW. DISCOMs: BSES Rajdhani Power (South/West Delhi, PIN 110xxx), BSES Yamuna Power (North/East Delhi, PIN 110xxx), TPDDL / Tata Power DDL (North Delhi + parts of NCR).
- Gross metering policy: DERC gross metering for systems >500 kW. Feed-in tariff per DERC order.
- Hybrid policy: Delhi Solar Policy 2024: solar + battery storage encouraged; battery subsidy under study.
- DISCOM requirements: BSES Rajdhani (South, West, Central Delhi), BSES Yamuna (North, East, Shahdara), TPDDL (North Delhi, Rohini, Dwarka, Bawana industrial areas).
